Connecting to RPOWER Remote Support

To create a remote session you have two options:

  1. Use the RPOWER Connect Launcher.
  2. Create a session on the RPOWER Remote Admin Page.

The machine must have at least .NET 2.0 installed.

You can get .NET at http://www.microsoft.com/net or download it from http://rpower.com/update/screenconnect/dotNetFx40_Full_x86_x64.exe

The launcher will be the best option on sites with older versions of web browsers installed.

Use the RPOWER Connect Launcher

Connect to http://rpower.com/update and download RpowerConnect.exe[1]

  • Run the program. It will create a session name based on the site's name, serial number, and machine name. The session name can be changed if you chose.
  • Press the join button.
  • The software will install if necessary and launch. If it prompts you asking to run, allow it to do so.

Create a Session from the RPOWER Remote Admin Page

Navigate your web browser to http://rpower.com/remote

  • Press the "Start a new session" button.
  • Enter a session name and description of the problem.
  • Press the arrow next to "Start a new session".
  • The software will install if necessary and launch. If it prompts you asking to run, allow it to do so.
